Celebrating Women in Business!

The Georgia Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GAHCCI) celebrated Women in Business during International Women’s Month with their latest CommerceWorx event. The event was held on March 9th, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and featured a panel of five inspiring and successful women in business.

The event was held at the beautiful showroom of Kimball International, which provided a perfect backdrop for the evening’s activities. The catering provided by “Casserole Creole” Haitian cuisine was a highlight of the night, and attendees were treated to delicious food and drinks throughout the event.

The panelists included Dr. Dorothy Crisostomo, a board-certified Psychiatry Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner; Coach Betty Fortunat, founder of Fortunately Femmes; Attorney Judith Delus, a Haitian-American lawyer; Chief of Staff Keena Pierre, a dual professional with over 10 years of experience in healthcare and business marketing; and Berthine Crèvecoeur West, CEO of Westbridge Solutions LLC.

Saurel Quettan, CEO of Saurel Quettan Consulting, moderated the panel, asking thought-provoking questions and encouraging insightful discussions. The event was a great success, with over 100 attendees and multiple sponsors.
Sandra L. Jean, founder of The Jean Consulting Group, LLC, a proud sponsor of the CommerceWorx series, said, “This is the place to be if you want to do business with the Haitian and Caribbean communities. As a woman founder of this great organization, it’s wonderful to see women trailblazers being featured!!!”

Attorney Judith Delus was also grateful for the opportunity to share her journey as an entrepreneur. She said, “Thank you GA Haitian-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. of Atlanta for honoring Women in Business during International Women’s Month! Lisa, your venue and showroom was amazing! Each and every panelist shared their stories of perseverance and overcoming! What an honor to be a panelist and share my successes and failures on this journey of entrepreneurship. May our stories continue to inspire and uplift the community.”

Betty Fortunat of Fortunately Femmes proudly supported the event and was honored to be among the panelists who delivered a powerful message to all the women in business.

Berthine Crèvecoeur West also had a positive experience and was grateful to have served on the panel.
